Take the Jump teamed up with local community organisers in Broadstairs and The Swap Shop to celebrate ‘Dress Retro’! The Swap Shop brings clothes swapping to a whole new level - and provides a quality shopping experience. Clothes are swapped for coloured tokens with each colour representing the level of quality and value. You can swap tokens for clothes, and top up with cash if the item you like needs a higher quality token. The clothes are arranged beautifully - and it feels like a wonderful way of having fun and dressing well, whilst staying true to the Dress Retro shift of no more than 3 new items of clothing per year. This event drew in so many passers by - and was a great way to spread word about the other shifts in Take the Jump.
